Info about ‘Songkran Day’

Fort Denison in misty Sydney Harbour on Good Friday.
If I was back in Thailand, I would be celebrating Thai New Year Day—Songkran Festival. It is a crazy time of the year in Thai calendar. It was for me, anyway. Here in Sydney, I have a tranquil moment in the dawn of Songkran.

Of all the photos you’ve taken of Sydney Harbour, this is one of the most beautiful. It’s hard to believe this was taken in the very epicentre of a city of four million people.
