About ’Pong

’Pong is freak who enjoys discovering the beauty of life even in a strange place and uses moving and still images as tools to explore the relationship of larger interconnected patterns of human societies.

His perspective of living has been displayed in a number of exhibitions including Darlinghurst PhotoArt Project, Marrickville Contemporary Art Prize, Walking the Street and Metropolitan Skin. He was won Best Use of the Medium in Mardi Gras: the Slide Show Photo Competition, a Commended Award in Cultural and Linguistic Diversity Background (CALD) category from Marrickville Contemporary Art Prize 2008 and recently Computers Now Award for Best Video from COFA Annual 09.

Born and raised in Bangkok, ’Pong graduated in Master of Digital Media at College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales and has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (Film and Photography) from Thammasat University, Bangkok. He then worked in various roles in event management industry as a Creative, Copywriter, Video Producer and Stage Manager for 13th Asian Games Opening and Closing Ceremony before relocating to Australia in 2001.
