Love Post 2042 from ApostrophePong on Vimeo.
2042 is the postcode of Newtown/Enmore, NSW, Australia where I have spent half of adult life for almost ten years. It is one of the best places in the world to live in and it will be one of the things I will be missing the most.
This video is a series of photographs I took in a Summer 2006 at Bank Hotel, next to Newtown Station. Folded window panes reflect commuters passing by an old post on King Street. Something is living in oblivion.
This is the last video I make for Kino Sydney, the last video in Australia. However, there are still some materials I shot in Sydney to make some videos and they probably will be produced when the time comes and I settle down a bit in Bangkok.

I have been involved in a community event, Walking the Street 06, Inner West Cultural Services, asked me to document the launch event at Peace Park, Newtown. It was an intimate event that showed the spirit of the community. The opening performance by Freshwater blew me away.
For the first time, my works are exposed in Australia. It is Walking the Street 06, an annual community event organised by Inner West Cultural Services. I am one of the selected artists who have their artworks installed in shop fronts along King Street South, which is from Newtown Station to Sydney Park. King Street, Newtown is one of the coolest shopping street in Australia. In the event, the street is even more colourful with artworks from diverse artists. And it’s free!
If you get a chance to be there between 7-22 October 2006, you will find my photo works of Suwannakorn Series at __Europe Grill, 506 King Street. It is quite in the middle of the strip. The event launch will be held atPeace Park, corner of Alice Street and King Street, Newtown on 7 October. Yes, It’s tomorrow at 1pm. Please say hi if you can make it there and see me clicking photos.
Whether you see the works in Walking the Street 06 or online, I really need your feedback. Please let me know what you think of my exhibited works. Thanks heaps.
This year I have been selected as one of participating artists in Walking the Street. Apart from Australian Centre for Photography student show, this is the first time that my prints will be exhibited publicly in Australia amongst other artists and venues along King Street South, Newtown. My works, Suwannakron Series, will be displayed here at Charcoal Grill from 7-22 October 2006.
