I’ve watched this a couple of times now, and I am struck at how the stop motion technique encourages a closer look at each part of the scene. The banner on the lower left, the dance of the traffic lights and the multifarious clusters of people are all demanding my attention as much as the on street action, but not in a distracting way. Very engaging.

The music caps it perfectly.

Nice photographs!!!

It is very pleasant to be in Australia in winter..

I love Australia in winter, walks on blustery beaches, cosy cabins, wild bushland adventures, cool desert, warm soup, devonshire teas, less hustle.

You can ski and snowboard down Victoria’s powdered slopes or snorkel and dive the balmy waters of Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef..

I think his major problem is that he writes all of his films and some others. He just couldn’t get away from himself. It’s quite normal for a matured artist. His case is very obvious.

Thanks for this summary of his opus.

I haven’t seen Titanic (Shock, horror!) but his other flicks did come to distract me throughout the movie, which is a pity, as it really did break the magic of the superb construct projected up before me.
