Crossing the Lines

This is literally the last shot of the day. A masked lapwing (Vanellus miles) stops wandering just on the spot that I can compose the lines.

    Ah ’Pong, I know you’ve been frustrated by not having a computer for several weeks. But now that you’re back online it’s fantastic to see that you’ve posted five truly excellent images! I hadn’t seen any of these before and I’m quite blown away!
    This one is especially sweet as the lapwing’s colouring is mirrored by the road markings — truly well spotted!
